Our first solar installation was completed and began producing clean power at the end of June, 2016.
The building is owned by Shift Development, who granted rooftop access to the SES Solar Co-operative Ltd. The project was able to benefit from Saskatoon Light and Power’s net metering program and SaskPower’s net metering grant.
Check out this drone footage of the building.
When it was installed it was the largest solar installation in the Saskatoon Light and Power district and the second largest installation in Saskatoon. 90 solar panels were installed by Suncatcher Solar Ltd. on the roof and front awing of the Two Twenty on 20th St. W in Saskatoon. The estimated electrical production from the system is 33,000 kilowatt hours per year.
