Wolf Willow Co-housing
The SES Solar Co-op has installed a photovoltaic system with 120 solar panels on the rooftop of Wolf Willow Cohousing located at 530 Avenue J South in Saskatoon.
Their rooftop solar system will meet a large portion of the electrical needs of Wolf Willow’s common space, which includes a big kitchen, a beautiful dining room, a workshop area, an exercise room, a sauna, and a laundry room. Rock Paper Sun won the competitive bid to do the installation. The total Direct Current generating capacity of this system is 36 kilowatts.

This is the Solar Co-op’s 6th solar project in co-operation with a property owner. We are delighted that the residents of Wolf Willow have partnered with us. |
As of this our 6th installation the SES Solar Co-op has now installed 182 kilowatts of solar generating capacity (588 solar panels). These installations should generate an important revenue stream for the Co-op over the next 25 years and contribute to greenhouse gas reduction in our community. |
