Two Twenty


The fourth installation of the SES Solar Co-operative Ltd.  consists of 126 rooftop solar panels are installed on the roofs of Radiance Cohousing with a total direct current generation capacity of 37.8 kilowatts. SESSC became the sole owner of the solar system on March 31, 2020 and signed a 25-year lease agreement with Radiance Cohousing. Radiance Cohousing has a small power producer’s agreement with Saskatoon Light and Power for the operation of the grid-tied system.

When originally installed, the Two Twenty project was the largest solar installation in the Saskatoon Light and Power District, and the second-largest installation in Saskatoon. 90 solar panels were installed by Suncatcher Solar Ltd. on the roof and front awning of the Two Twenty on 20th Street W in Saskatoon. The estimated electrical production from the system is 33, 000 kilowatt hours per year.
